Perception Permissions post!

Trucy has a unique, natural ability to perceive when people are lying or nervous; sudden little movements or gestures will almost immediately catch her attention. This is canon for her, however I understand that not everyone will want their characters to be read so easily!

So, basically that's what this is about! Please post your character name, and whether it's okay for Trucy to read any kind of little 'tells' they may have. If you say no, that's fine! I'll just be glad to know. If you say yes, then please add what nervous habits she's allowed to pick up on!

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: UHHHH probably not since Hajime is getting his SHSL Skills back which means that he can hide his expressions or fake it? But honestly I'll let you know when she can perceive anything and what she'll find. :V

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Yes! But as he actively skirts his way around direct lies by either twisting his words or saying things that he himself perceives to be truths, she might have a hard time catching him. I'll be sure to indicate it when he spouts a lie that he personally acknowledges to be a lie.
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Depends on the context! I'll describe the tell when it happens.

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: I wanna say needless fiddling with his cap. If it happens, I'll probably end up describing the tell too, but chances are it's got something to do with his cap.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character? Yes
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will able to pick up on? His eyes start to dart about when he isn't sure about something or lying. There's also running his hand behind his head, Phoenix Wright style.

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will able to pick up on? Uhhh Pride's tell are more situational. So I guess I'll just let you know if there's a tell happening whenever these two talk.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Sure.

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Nagito's tells are all situation based, I'll give hints when they happen. He'll be difficult to read as he's very much in control of himself most of the time.

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Another situational one. Allen however is easier to read. I'll do the same for him as I will for Nagito.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: HELL YES
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?:
-He takes out a mirror once in a while to look at himself.
-He adjusts his armband that has his group's name on it
- He likes to comb his hair or rub his hand on the back of his neck when he's trying to avoid saying something
- But he is nearly incapable of telling a lie so he'll be so easy to read it's laughable.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Sure! His nervous expressions can be a bit subtle if he's trying to hide them, but he usually has no reason to do that. There is one exception, though: He's extremely skilled at telling little white lies - basic information like name, where he comes from, etc. 300+ years of practice at it will do that. He has no reason to lie to her, however, about things like this, so I don't think it will come up. Still, for the record!

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?:
When he's nervous or coming down from a sudden scare, he tends to play with his hands and wrists. For something more deeply unnerving but more prolonged or less immediate, he folds his arms under his chest. He also scratches the back of his head or looks away when he's embarrassed. In Empatheias the environment might show it before he does; Trucy should keep an eye out for things like plants' leaves and flowers closing or the air currents becoming erratic.

I might be forgetting things, but reflexive responses, nervous or otherwise, will totally be in the narration, so she could pick up on them then if we have a thread where this stuff becomes relevant!

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: I'm sure Trucy knows by now, but Widget is a pretty good give away.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Sure!
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Fiddling with her hands probabaly

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Sure!
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: She'll probably end up fiddle with Teepo in some way (hugging him, bounding him, ect.).

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?:
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Pretty much anything that can be picked up on from outside his armour - fidgeting, voice pitch, anime headtilts, environmental effects etc. I'll note anything I think is major in-thread, but he's not very subtle.

Character name: Sans the Skeleton
Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Sure! ...bearing in mind a) he's a skeleton and b) he has a knack for reading faces / body language himself, so he'll probably do the same thing back on a smaller scale.
If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: It'll be along the lines of subtle eye movements or slight changes in breathing (don't ask) - he is very rarely outright nervous and extremely used to spouting bullshit, but those are usually better clues to what he's thinking than his voice or behaviour. If he's really rattled, he may sweat a little, but that's his personal extreme. The biggest tells are probably in the environment, so again I'll bring stuff up in-thread if it seems like it could go somewhere.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Yes, she can!

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Mostly nervous chuckles, scratching at his head, sometimes his voice raising a pitch. But he'll almost never actually lie at least, so there's not much to worry about there.

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Yes!

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: It should be noted that almost everything Gundam says is an exaggeration or a lie of some sort. The main tell is really how ridiculous it is. When he's trying to lie in a more serious manner or being called out in some way, he will mostly give himself away by sweating nervously or losing his cool. I may also think up tells as I go a long! But Trucy is perfectly free to pick up on how exaggerated most of what he says is.

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: Below animation but her index finger might twitch ever so slightly.

Character name: Pidge Gunderson

Can Trucy use her perception skills on your character?: Yes

If yes, what nervous habits does your character have that Trucy will be able to pick up on?: There's a few things, the most obvious one in threading being that Pidge is quite fidgety at all times, because she finds it very difficult to sit still and not do anything. However, Trucy is more than welcome to pick up on the fact that Pidge out and out lies about her name, as 'Pidge Gunderson' is an alias that's become comfortable at this point.

Additionally, Trucy is more than welcome to notice that Pidge is a girl. It's not a fact she's outright hiding any longer, but she's not advertising it either....partly because she's a mischievous troll.
