CHARACTER
Name: Trucy Wright
Canon: Ace Attorney
Age: 15
Timeline: The end of Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney.
If playing another character from the same canon, how will you deal with this?: N/A

Personality: Trucy Wright is one of the happiest, bubbliest people one can meet -- and she enjoys trying to make other people feel happy, too. To add to that, she's an extremely outgoing, energetic person as well, but that is to be expected -- she does run the Wright Anything Agency basically on her own, after all. She's also a performer; a magician, to be exact, and so she puts a lot of time and energy into that as well.

General cheerfulness aside, she's also fairly intelligent and helpful; this is shown as she works side by side with defense attorney Apollo Justice, helping him during each of his cases. During Phoenix's trial, despite the fact that they don't know each other yet, she helped him win the case by giving him a piece of evidence -- his 'trump card', so to speak. The trial consisted of former defense attorney Phoenix Wright accused of murdering one Shadi Smith during a poker game gone wrong; to make a long story short, two sets of cards were used during the game to prevent cheating: a blue deck and a red deck. The victim's final hand consisted of all red cards... save for one, which was blue. It meant it had been switched out; a professional poker player like Phoenix would have known better, would have switched it with a red, and the dealer, Olga Orly, would have known better as well.

There was a third person involved.

He pointed out that there was a third person involved, someone who was far too careless to pay that much attention to the cards. That person ended up being Kristoph Gavin, who had earlier mentioned the blue cards, "their backs wreathed in blue flames", as he so dramatically put it. It also involved a fifth ace, one that had gone 'missing' -- as it so happens, the card Trucy gave Apollo was just that: an ace, with a single drop of 'blood'. Because of this, Apollo was able to prove to the court that the real killer was Kristoph Gavin and not Phoenix... it was only AFTER the trial that he was informed that technically the card had been forged -- as Phoenix said, a "naughty magician's trick".

With this in mind, it can also be said that Trucy may or may not have a set of 'questionable' ethics, inherited from her adopted father Phoenix. She's also somewhat mischievous; a trickster of sorts, and she finds her own tricks quite amusing, as do most of the people she shows off to. She's quite the performer and a talented magician at that, Phoenix even went so far as to call her a genius. Even with these 'questionable' ethics of hers, though, she's always got the best of intentions in mind, and she'd never do anything to get anyone in further trouble or cause any harm, period.

Loyal and caring, Trucy makes friends easily; most people who talk to her find her adorable because she's fairly naive and innocent about most things, which can sometimes horrify Apollo. In their second case together, they defended a young man by the name of Wocky Kitaki, who was part of a major crime family. While questioning his mother, 'Little Plum', Trucy was eager for information and completely uncaring as to who she was talking to. When Little Plum announced that as her nickname [Little Plum is actually an extremely LARGE lady], Trucy blurted out,

"Little Plum? That's a really cute name for someone so..."

As Plum replied, "Yes...?" and drew a sword from her broom, Apollo freaked and asked her to go through him when talking to her. Trucy didn't see the point, though, and mentioned how she thought it was a needless procedure, to which Apollo replied with, "I'm a lawyer. I live for needless procedures."

Despite the little insult, though Plum still found her to be quite charming; but this is how Trucy is with most people. She herself could probably get away with murder, if she were really up to it [and even capable, she's far too sweet].

Trucy wants to find the truth just as much as her father and Apollo, and will work hard to get to the bottom of each case, no matter how serious or how silly it may be. She can be quite the goofball herself at times, but she's still an extremely hard worker when it comes to trying to be as helpful as possible to others and their needs.

Background: Trucy's background is a bit long and drawn out, so I'll just link you to her wiki: http://aceattorney.wikia.com/wiki/Trucy_Wright

Abilities: Trucy has a unique ability indeed; she has the power to perceive. Being born into the Gramarye magician family, she is able to perceive things, such as little nervous ticks people have. Someone scratching the back of their neck too much, a lip twitch, hand movements... Trucy can tell whether or not people are lying by these 'ticks'. Apollo can also do that, but he needs a bracelet to do so, whereas Trucy has a natural affinity for it, needing no bracelet or any kind of jewelry or item period. It's something she's always been able to do... it's also how Phoenix went undefeated at poker for seven years. She would accompany him to his games and sit with him, quietly informing him when his opponent was lying about his or her hand. She also helped Apollo hone his ability as well, with the help of Phoenix.

First Person: [ Trucy steps off of the train and onto the platform, looking confused. This... is definitely not Los Angeles. She's got absolutely no idea how this could have happened or where she even is, and she can't help but start just a bit as the train starts to pull away again. She stands there a moment, because it's too late to get back on, and something tells her that getting back on won't do her any good anyways.

Reaching into the small, heart shaped purse that always seems glued to her hip, she digs around for her phone, locating it quite easily, but her fingers brush against something foreign, something she knows she didn't put in her purse before she left home in the morning.

Pulling the object out, it reveals itself to be a watch. She turns it and twists it all different ways as she inspects it, finding that not only is it a watch, but some sort of communication device as well. It's not hard to figure out, at least, and she taps on it a few times before she speaks. ]

Hello? Is this thing on--?? Checking, one, two, three--!

[ A few more obnoxious sounding taps, and then there's a brief bout of silence. ]

--Right, then! Hello to anyone who may be listening out there! My name is Trucy Wright, and... well, as much as I hate to admit it, I'm a bit lost as to exactly where I am at the moment. I'd really appreciate any information anyone can give me, if it isn't too much trouble... even if it's just a little, anything helps! Thanks in advance!

Third Person: Everything would be fine; just fine -- that's what she knew Apollo would be telling her right now, in his nervous, overworked, raspy voice, her father at his side agreeing and giving her that lazy smile of his.

She would have given almost anything to have them there with her right now, really -- then again, that was a selfish wish, and she knew it. As she walked along the sidewalk, Trucy couldn't help but think of what they must have been doing at the moment; did they know she was missing yet? Had they called the police? Her father would be worried sick, no doubt, when she didn't come home as the street lights began to turn on around the city.

In the seven years she'd been living with Phoenix Wright, she hadn't been away from him for more than a few hours at a time. She was already getting homesick, what would she do without him, her beloved daddy? She'd be alright, of course -- he'd taught her well, and she could definitely take care of herself, so really, the important thing was what was he going to do without her?

No, she couldn't think about that right now. She had to treat this as an investigation; she could worry about home later, once she had more information and all of her bearings. The faster she gained information and clues on her whereabouts, the sooner she could find a way home, and the very thought sent all of the negative feelings and fears she'd had moments ago far, far away, replaced instead with sheer determination.

Pausing in her tracks, she looked up at the sky, a bright grin appearing on her face.

"Alright, Trucy. Showtime! I can do this... I'll be home before daddy and Polly even realize I'm gone!"

With that in mind and her spirits lifted, the young magician upped her pace. It was time to find the library, books and newspaper clippings were always a good place to start, perhaps she would be able to question some of the locals there, too.
